GAÉTAN DAIGNEAULT has been active for over 25 years on the pop, jazz, blues and ethnic scene. He studied piano with Lorraine Desmarais and Arthur Roberts before accompanying many artists, from Celine Dion to Le Cirque du Soleil. For the last ten years, he devoted himself to his passion for jazz on record and on stage. With his trio, the pianist revisits the repertoire of the great Montreal-born musician Oscar Peterson, perfectly matching the particular dynamic, musical phrasing and soulful touch of our most famous jazzman. With Richard Irwin on drums and Frédéric Grenier on bass, they invite you on a journey to the heart of the music of the great Master.
