Recently relocated to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Vanessa Rodrigues is one of Canada's most promising young jazz organists.
Vanessa has shared the stage with acclaimed international artists such as saxophonist Ronnie Cuber and trumpeter Randy Brecker, and was a live-in student of Hammond B-3 guru Dr. Lonnie Smith. She has performed across Canada, Europe and Japan, and founded a popular yearly jazz organ jam session in Montreal, at which she counts organist Joey DeFrancesco and saxophonist Kenny Garrett among her guests.
For Tuesday night's Jam Session, her house band will include Andre White on drums and Cordell Henebury on guitar.
