Modibo Keita

Modibo Keita, freshly graduated from 3 years of studies in the highly regarded jazz program of CEGEP De Saint-Laurent, is coming up with his first independant project. Winner of the 2011 Galaxie Rising Stars Award at Ottawa International Jazz Festival, Modibo Keita will be pursuing his jazz studies at University of Toronto in fall. Since he is leaving, he is offering a night with musicians that has been in entourage in Montréal. Modibo has played beside Alex Bellegarde, Rachel Therrien, Ian McDougall, Kirk MacDonald and Ingrid Jensen among many others.
