Young vocalist Renée Yoxon is a central figure in Ottawa’s jazz scene thanks to her grace, captivating presence and beautiful voice. In only a few short years, Renée has firmly established herself as a musician dedicated to the art of jazz singing.
Mark Ferguson has over twenty years of experience in the music industry, working as a pianist, trombonist, composer, arranger, producer, and educator. He has performed with many of the world’s great artists including Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett, and Natalie Cole.
Together, Yoxon and Ferguson write music that blends the traditions of the Great American Songbook with a contemporary lyrical and harmonic sense.
