The Gentiane MG Trio is led by pianist and composer Gentiane MG (Michaud-Gagnon), alongside bassist Levi Dover and drummer Louis-Vincent Hamel. This award winning trio has toured extensively in Canada and Mexico. Together, they have released two albums, Eternal Cycle (2017) and Wonderland (2019). Having shared the stage together for several years, the musicians express their three personalities that are at once unique and complementary. Their music, drawing from a modern and impressionistic landscape that also finds its roots in the jazz tradition, leaves ample space for creative freedom.
