Ingrid Li is a 20 year-old saxophonist turning heads on the Canadian jazz scene. Based in Vancouver and Montreal, she enjoys working as a bandleader, composer, and sought-after sidewoman. Her warm, powerful alto sound and classic jazz language pays respects to her musical heroes and saxophonists Sonny Stitt, Frank Strozier, and notably, Cannonball Adderley.
She is thrilled to play a tribute to the classic album “Nancy Wilson / Cannonball Adderley” with her star-studded band featuring some of Canada’s best young musicians.
