Alice Ackerman is a Montreal based, Toronto-born performer, with a varied background in classical, jazz, and theater. Her love for the music of the 1950 brings her together with a band consisting of some familiar sidemen from the Montreal roots music scenes.
Together they deliver an evening of blues, R’n’B, 1950s ballads, and rockabilly that will transport back to a dance hall at the dawn of the birth of rockn’roll.
