Jerusalem-born, Montreal-based vocalist Ayelet Rose Gottlieb is an international performer whose music bridges jazz with Middle Eastern and Jewish traditions. She creates with sophisticated simplicity, shaping music that foregrounds emotional depth, and expressive nuance.
A finalist for the Opus Prize for World Music Album of the Year with her band Dream Keepers, Gottlieb has developed a distinctive artistic voice that has led to collaborations with composer John Zorn, pianist Kate Wyatt, and clarinettist François Houle to name a few.
Tonight, she appears with two of Montréal’s most innovative musicians: pianist Jean-Michel Pilc and saxophonist Allison Burik.
