Since its inaugural show in 2000, the JGH Jazz Festival has been enjoyed by patients, visitors, volunteers, staff members, as well as music-loving passersby alike. The week-long annual outdoor event, put on the by JGH’s Music Therapy Program, features musicians, singers, dancers, and sometimes even members of the JGH staff, all of whom take the opportunity to perform and share their talents and passion with the audience.
This year, because we can’t gather together to show our appreciation of music, we have decided to honour the impact that it can have on our wellbeing by holding a virtual tribute to the JGH Jazz Festival. Tune in Thursday, March 25 at 8:00pm for And All That Jazz, a soirée MCed by Joey Elias, featuring David Marino, Nikki Yanofsky, Ranee Lee, Dawn Tyler Watson and other amazing local jazz musicians, an auction, and so much more, while supporting essential cancer research at the Segal Cancer Centre.
