Isabella Hallia is a Montréal-based jazz vocalist whose lyrical voice and warm, resonant tone bring fresh sensitivity to the timeless sound of traditional vocal jazz. She draws her inspiration from icons such as Anita O’Day, Carmen McRae, Sarah Vaughan, and Mel Tormé. In June 2026, Isabella will release her debut album, Isabella Hallia: A Formal Introduction.
The project—a collection of three original compositions and personalized arrangements of jazz standards—serves as a musical self-portrait and the centerpiece of her upcoming Canadian tour. Through this album, Isabella aims to share a more intimate and personal side of her artistry, inviting audiences to connect with her deep love of the jazz tradition. This night is an opportunity to give the audience a sneak peak of the material she is preparing before she goes into the studio to record the music.
Featured musicians: Isabella Hallia (voice), Anthony D’Alessandrio (piano), Mathieu McConnell (bass), Baptiste Lejeune (drums)
