Jacques Kuba Séguin Quartet

After winning the JUNO for best jazz album in Canada in 2020 and the Félix the same year, here is MiGRATIONS, a project which left its mark in Quebec/Canadian jazz.
MiGRATIONS is intended to be a mosaic of compositions based on interviews with people from different cultural communities living in or having immigrated to Quebec. It crosses life paths and sheds light on the mixing of cultures. The music offered is colorful, direct, dynamic and touching. It invites a sensitive experience and, hopefully, a reflection on openness to others, an openness that is experienced through a genre based on listening and meeting: jazz.

Jacques Kuba Séguin: Trp & compositions
Jean-Michel Pilc: Piano
Rémi-Jean Leblanc: Double bass
