Praised by PostGenre as “one of the best saxophonists of his generation,” Philadelphia native Jaleel Shaw has collaborated with Roy Haynes, Dave Holland, Tom Harrell, Robert Glasper, Christian McBride, Roy Hargrove and countless others.
For this special concert he joins forces with Montréal pianist Andrés Vial and his trio featuring Ira Coleman (bass) and Tommy Crane (drums) to perform original compositions and music by John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk and Wayne Shorter.
