The most beautiful melodies of Michel Legrand are reborn thanks to the exceptional encounter between the virtuoso piano of Lorraine Desmarais and the captivating voice of Sonia Johnson, accompanied by Alec Walkington on double bass and Camil Bélisle on drums.

This concert pays tribute to one of the greatest composers of the 20th century through original arrangements by Lorraine Desmarais. Together, the artists revisit timeless works that have marked several generations with sensitivity, elegance, and a great deal of jazz freedom. Essential pieces such as “The Windmills of Your Mind,” “Summer of ’42,” “The Lilac Waltz,” and “When It Swings” take on a new hue, oscillating between swing and gentle ballads.
