Mark and the Shufflers

Inspired by the blues shouters and hard bop saxophonists of the 50’s, Mark LeClerc blends the sounds of Eddie “Cleanhead” Vinson, Stanley Turrentine and King Curtis into a swingin’ and boppin’ soul stew.

Backed by the Shufflers’ bouncing rhythms, he’ll dive into jump blues classics as well as New-Orleans ballads and funky soul numbers. A stark contrast to his usual band, Fuel Junkie, the Shufflers have a classic sound that is sure to please even the most diehard blues fans.

Musicians:
Mark LeClerc – saxophone, vocals
Graham Webb – Guitar
Mélissa Doucet – bass
Francis Verdon – drums
