Mona Lissa is an accomplished vocalist who presents us with a new understanding of the soul of jazz. When she sings our spirits are soothed and heightened at the same time. She is a songwriter in her own right who mingles contemporary pop/rock with timeless classics. Her lilting voice has remarkable range, and is reminiscent of Eartha Kit and Sarah Vaughan with a touch of Berlin Cabaret. This versatile artist merges her own East Indian and German heritage with the never-ending enrichments of traditional jazz.
