Peter Madsen Quartet

Jazz pianist and composer Peter Madsen lived in NYC for over 20 years playing with hundreds of great jazz artists including Stan Getz, Chris Potter, Joe Lovano, Kenny Garrett, Ravi Coltrane, George Coleman, Stanley Turrentine, Benny Golson, Warne Marsh, John Abercrombie, Bill Frissell, Roy Hargrove, Don Cherry, Dewey Redman, Tony Malaby, Maceo Parker, Pee Wee Ellis, Fred Wesley, the Mingus Big Band and many more. He’s written over 600 compositions and made over 175 recordings. Peter has performed all over the world on hundreds of tours. He began teaching in Austria 25 years ago and ran an organization called The Collective of Improvising Artists which included 15 different ensembles for which he composed all the music. He now resides in Montreal while still performing internationally.
