Music lovers with varied tastes and fervent followers of improvisations, Pulsart Trio draws on the astonishing richness of its members’ compositions to offer complex and rich jazz. Moving from Bebop, to funk and classical music, the group draws inspiration from, among others, Jimmy Smith, Thelonious Monk, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Schoenberg and Bach. Chaos, timelessness, nature and the universe are themes that fuel the creative universe of the Trio.
In addition to having seen the album Élévation in the top 50 of Ici Musique albums 2019 as well as 2 nominations as jazz album of the year at GAMIQ, the trio’s 3 albums are regularly played on various radio stations, including Ici Musique and CKRL (Anglo number 1 for several weeks).
